Since 2006, intoPIX creates and licenses innovative image processing, video compression and security technologies to audio-visual equipment manufacturers for both consumers and professionals’ applications.

With its unique expertise, its solutions enable to efficiently transmit, store and manage the highest video resolutions. At the same time, it reduces power consumption, complexity, memory and video bandwidth, and it preserves lossless image quality, high dynamic range and the lowest latency. 

The solutions are provided as licenses: intoPIX has developed a wide range of IP-cores (JPEG 2000, TICO (RDD35), TICO-XS (JPEG-XS), TICO RAW) for FPGA or ASIC, and accelerated software tools for CPU or GPU architectures.

IntoPIX has customers all over the world that do not want to compromise on image quality, they are active in digital cinema, broadcast, pro-AV, wired/wireless communications, mobile, aerospace, industrial vision, automotive, security, telecoms, displays, image sensors and cameras.   

intoPIX plays an active role in several international standardisation committees, including JPEG, MPEG, SMPTE, VSF, MIPI,.. In 2019, intoPIX co-created and standardised the ISO JPEG-XS codec.
