The ARENA of SHADOWS
This is the newest work of Okus Lab dance company led by the Belgian choreographer and visual artist Manu Di Martino. This project is a multidisciplinary approach combining various art forms as one, on the basis of an unifying idea.
This MULTIMEDIA show/installation is ADAPTATIVE and MODULAR, mixing MAPPING, Hip Hop DANCE, CONTEMPORARY dance, BREAK-DANCING, PHOTOGRAPHY and LIGHT DESIGN. A casting of regional artists INTERNATIONALLY-RENOWNED.
These are the tools used by the performers in order to create a fantasmagoric univers defined by astonishing unusual characters.
This multi - media project will give you the opportunity to explore and admire a place, a space, an architecture under an innovative angle.
Enter a universe of movement, of dance, oneiric, in which digital arts, scenographic and choreographic intermingle in a subtil mixe. This project arises under three aspects, an ambulation, a performance dance/mapping and an installation of paper and light.
For the occasion the performance will be on location; in a museum, where the architectural environment can support even more synergy between the different art disciplines. This project was organized by the Museum of Walloon life with the support of the province of Liège
